The British science fiction anthology series has won many hearts across the globe. After season 5, fans can’t wait to see season 6 of Black Mirror.
Season 5 is on Netflix…
Black Mirror was first aired on the British TV channel Channel 4 for its first two seasons. The huge popularity of the show had it got picked up by Netflix in 2015. Seaon 3 and 4 were released on the web streaming platform in October 2016 and December 2017. But after its standalone interactive episode Bandersnatch which was aired in December 2018.
The latest fifth season was released on 5 June 2019. It consisted of only three episodes which must have dissaponted fans a bit. And now fans are eagerly waiting for season 6. The release date for the next seson hasn’t been announced yet. But considering the series humongous popularity, it’s easy to predict that season 6 is undoubtedly on the cards.

As season 5 has just been released, so the new season probably won’t be released this year. We might have the next season in 2020. As for the number of episodes, it’s safe to guess that the new season might have 3 to 6 episodes. The previous seasons also have that many episodes.
Cast Details…
It’s very hard to guess the cast of the new season. We all know that the creators Charlie Brooker and Annable Jones have surprised us everytime. New but well-known faces have always been included in its previous seasons like Miley Cyrus, Andrew Scott, Anthony Mackie and many more. So this time also, we can expect to see more new and famous faces.
All the episodes of the series are based on the perils of the technology which will continue in the next season. In an interview to Digital Spy, Brookes told that he thinks there’s nothing to stop them. They could do one-offs, an ongoing story or spin-offs.
Well, viewers need to wait a bit for the next season. But do look out for the Easter eggs in the next season whenever it airs.
