The ambition of the president of the US to build a wall across the US-Mexico border is somehow going to happen as Pentagon authorizes up to 1 billion USD to commence 57 miles of wall constructions. The construction of the wall will be about 18 feet high along the Yuma and El Paso sectors. This announcement is criticized as the direct support to Trump’s national emergency declarations. Both houses of Congress approved a resolution to overturn the emergency order, but Trump vetoed the resolution.
The announcement resulted in the use of Section 284 for the first time. The statement said that 284 allowed Pentagon to “construct roads and fences and to install lighting to block drug-smuggling corridors across international boundaries of the United States in support of counter-narcotic activities of Federal law enforcement agencies.”

The imminent announcement of Pentagon made Donald Trump Jr. tweet, “Christmas came early this week.” “The $1 billion reprogramming that the department is implementing without congressional approval constitutes a dollar-for-dollar theft from other readiness needs of our Armed Forces,” Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and others wrote in a letter to Shanahan, the acting secretary of defence who authorized the Army Corps of Engineers to begin planning and building of the wall. But the numbers of Congressmen have already expressed sadness.
But the irony is even though the veto remained unscathed, it will take years to resolve. The US-Mexico border wall was planned to execute as Trump thinks illegal immigrants are the reason for many deaths in the US.
