In any Batman starring film, apart from casting of the Dark Knight, another thing that raises curiosity is the villains that will appear.
With Matt Reeves’ upcoming Batman, it is expected that the Penguin and the Riddler will both make appearances. The film may also star Catwoman, Scarecrow, Two-face and Bane.

Actor, Robert Pattinson, famous for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, has apparently completed negotiations with the studio to assume the role as the Caped Crusader in director Matt Reeves’ forthcoming project The Batman.
If John David Washington joins The Batman, he’ll be working for the second time with Robert Pattinson. The duo have also been shooting for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet.
John David Washington, the son of legendary actor Denzel Washington, has played a variety of roles. He starred in HBO’s Ballers. He earned a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for his work in BlacKkklansman. He is also attached to star in Born to be Murdered along with Alicia Vikander and Boyd Holbrook.
Professionally Washington spent four years as the running back for the United Football League’s Sacramento Mountain Lions.
Fans believe that Washington is a terrific actor will excellently play the character of the dichotomous gangster, as shown in the comic books. More details, including the costume and appearance of the character are expected to roll in soon.
The filming of The Batman is due to start in early part of 2020. The movie, directed by Matt Reeves, who is also producing alongside Dylan Clark is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021.
