Disney will be remaking Home Alone and Night at the Museum.
1990’s Home Qlone to make a comeback
Exec Bob Iger said there would be the remake of Home Alone, Night at the Museum, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Cheaper by a Dozen. Home Alone is a Christmas classic which stars Macaulay Culkin was released in 1990 and since then has been a traditional movie to watch on Christmas. These movies won’t be shown in cinemas. They will be streamed on Disney+ instead which will be launched this November in the US. Our childhood is going to return with the return of these movies.
Disney+ will cost the same as Netflix
This is what Iger said to investors: We are also focused on leveraging Fox’s vast library of great titles to enrich the content mix on our… platforms further — for example, reimagining ‘Home Alone,’ ‘Night at the Museum,’ ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ and ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ for a new generation on Disney+. Disney+ will exclusively show Marvel, Star Wars. It will cost $6.99 a month. This is similar to a standard Netflix subscription.
It would be great for us and our future generations to re-enjoy these movies that have lightened our childhood. It will be great if we see some new images in these movies, hopefully, some new story track.
