Ouachita Electric Cooperative has published a video showing the aftermath when a truck carrying ammonia nitrate exploded on Arkansas Highway 278 near Camden.

A one-mile perimeter has been set and areas near Highway 278 and Highway 57 have been evacuated.
Ouachita Co: U.S. Highway 278 will remain closed until further notice. This morning’s accident left about a 15-foot deep crater in the road. Arkansas Department of Transportation said in a tweet, “U.S. Highway 278 will remain closed until further notice. This morning’s accident left about a 15-foot deep crater in the road.”
According to authorities, the Highway is expected to remain closed for another 4-5 hours.
