According to Latest reports, the government of Sri Lanka has confirmed that 160 people have reportedly been killed in bomb blasts across multiple churches and hotels in Sri Lanka.
The Incident took place on the morning of Easter Sunday on April 21 when a series of explosion took place in Churches and High-End Hotels in Sri Lanka. Officials have confirmed that at least six explosions were reported at six different places, 3 of which were churches and 3 of them were Hotels.
However, according to a document that has surfaced it looks like Sri Lankan Authorities were aware of the Bomb Blast that took place on Easter Sunday and released an advisory making people aware. They advised people to be careful as according to that report Sri Lankan police had received information that a suicide attack targeting churches at 11 locations was being planned on the Easter Sunday.
Sri Lankan Official have reported that the blast took place at Kochikade, St Sebastian and Batticaloa church along with Shangri La, Cinnamon Grand, and Kingsbury hotel. Police and Emergency services were quickly deployed to the scene to help the victim and assess the damage from the blast.

Earlier it was being reported that 24 people were killed and 200 had been injured in the attack. However, the death toll quickly rose and now it is being reported by Sri Lankan Official that over 160 people have been killed and more than 300 have been injured in this attack.

As of right now, Police have identified two of the suspects were believed to be involved in the attack. The two suspects are believed to be suicide bombers and are identified as Zahran Hashim who carried out the attack on Shangri La hotel and Abu Mohammad who carried out the attack on the Batticaloa church.

All schools have been closed been order to be closed tomorrow and day after tomorrow by Sri Lankan Government.
