“13 Reasons Why” main girl Katherine Langford was casted on 2019’s blockbuster movie Avengers Endgame. But eventually, her scenes were removed for the final cut. avengers Endgame was released on April 26 and the movie has already crossed $2 billion box office mark.
Katherine Langford was casted on Avengers Endgame as the grown-up daughter of Iron Man aka Tony Stark. The Russo brothers revealed the portrayal of Langford as Morgan Stark in Sunday’s MTV’s “Happy Sad Confused” pod-cast. She filmed a scene before Tony’s death. Her scene basically looks like as Gamora-Thanos scene. In the scene, Tony played by Robert Downy Jr. finds himself before his adult daughter and she forgives him for doing the snap thing.
“There was an idea that Tony was going to go into the metaphysical way station that Thanos goes in when he snapped his fingers, and there was going to be a future version of his daughter in that way station,” Joe Russo quoted on the pod-cast.
The directors felt that adding this scene to the movie would create various confusion so they removed it.“The intention was that his future daughter forgave him and gave him peace to go. The idea felt resonant, but it just was too many ideas in an overcomplicated movie,” Russo described. “We showed it [the movie with the scene] to a test audience and it was really confusing for them.”
The other brother said, “We didn’t feel an emotional association with the adult version of his daughter. It wasn’t ringing to us. It wasn’t resonating to us on an emotional level is why we moved away from it.”
