Smart sun visors feature advanced technologies such as an LCD screen and an RGB camera that monitors the sun shining on the driver’s face. The virtual visor works hand-in-hand with artificial intelligence to identify facial features and track shadows. Then, an algorithm is utilized to detect the driver’s eyes and block sun glare to prevent blindness.
Experts predict that vehicles will feature sunlight-capturing tech in the future. Cars will load more power-sapping sensors to increase automation and enhance comfort. Nonetheless, vehicles will not rely on solar power. Instead, solar will supplement the automobile power source.
