The umbrella academy a Netflix comic book based series based on a comic book written by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. After a successful season 1, Netflix is going to release the second 2 soon.
Way and Bà’s written comic book Umbrella Academy has three volumes of it Apocalypse Suite, Dallas and Hotel Oblivion we have the Apocalypse in the first series so this means that the series will have a season 2 and a season 3 also. But when the media spoke to IndieWire about the ending of the first season and about the expectation of the more seasons of the series Steve Blackman told the media that “I hope we get a second and third and fourth season, but I knew that having a great ending is important for Netflix as a streamer”

As per the reports says we can expect that all the Hargreaves kids are coming back in season two to save the world Vanya, Luther, Allison, Klaus, Diego, Number 5 and Ben over the kid who had played an important and Central in the season 1 will be there in season 2
And there is a twist also in the story that their adoptive father Sir Reginald Hargreeves has chance to come back in season two as in this season these kids are going to travel back in the time to save their siblings so we are expecting to see sir Reginald again.
But there is another news which is going to confuse the fans that are going to see Hazel and Cha Cha again in Umbrella Academy season 2. As because the series is based on a comic book so if you read the comic book you will get to know that Hazel and Cha Cha don’t actually rock up until the volume 2.
Another thing that fans are focusing on is that when they are going to enjoy the season two of the umbrella academy as per the reports The news is that the production of season 2 is going to begin really soon in next few months from now and the season two is going to hit the Netflix screens in late 2020.
When is Umbrella Academy Season 2 going to release?
Now as per an official release by Netflix and cast, Umbrella Academy Season 2 doesn’t have a set air date. However, according to the latest statement given by series’ showrunner Steve Blackman, he said it taken “around 18 months” for the production of the series.
So if we do some calculation the last of season 1 was released in April. And if our math is right then we are looking at an expected release date for Umbrella Academy Season 2 in late 2020 at around August.
But these are just speculations and we cannot be sure unless Netflix announces or reveals information themselves.
