As Phase 3 of MCU ends marking the release of Spiderman – Far From Home, Keanu Reeves is rumored to enter MCU in Phase 4.
The actor is famous for his role in the movies like Speed, The Matrix and The John Wick series has been rumored to debut MCU a couple of years ago. But till now he is nowhere to be seen in the worldwide loved franchise.
The Marvel Studios want him for the cast of The Eternals which will be releasing next year. The role for which he is looked for is kept confidential. Angelina Jolie as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris as well as Kumail Nanjiani and Ma Dong – Seok in the unknown roles has been already cast in the movie.
Jeremy Conrad, who is an author at MCU Cosmic, said “being sought for a role in the Eternals,” in context of Reeves. But the thing is that there has been no confirmation upon Reeves taking the role.
The Eternals are the immortal beings that have shaped Earth’s history. As they have lived on Earth for so long, the movie’s timeline could be anywhere. But most probably the timeline will be followed by post Endgame.
Phase 4 will start soon. I hope we see our favorite ‘gun-fu’ actor in one of the beloved franchise of all time. There is also a necessity to bring new and famous faces to MCU to make it unstoppable in breaking box office records. We will keep you posted for further updates.
