You season 2 is already in production and it will be aired on Netflix by the end of 2019. Penn Badgley will again turn up as Joe.
You is an American TV series developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. It is a psychological thriller series produced by Warner Horizon Television in association with A&E Studios and Alloy Entertainment. It has successfully completed it’s first season which was based on the eponymous novel 2014 by Caroline Kepnes. In the first season, Joe Goldberg who is a bookstore manager falls in love with his customer Guinevere Beck. Now it is confirmed that Lifetime will release its second series.
On 3rd December 2018 official announcement regarding its second series was made.
Second series would be moved to the Netflix as its Original series. There is no fixed date has been announced yet for the premiere but it may be premiered this year.
It has been reported that most of the cast will be new in the sequence as the Joe has murdered his girlfriend Beck whom he stalked in entire series. In the second season, the story will move to Los Angeles from New York and the Joe will meet his ex-girlfriend who we thought is dead and the second story will move around them.

In the second season Penn Badgley will again turn up as Joe and Ambyr Childers as Candace Stone and Haunting of Hill House star Victoria Pedretti will star as Love Quinn and James Scully will play the character of Forty Quinn brother of Love Quinn.
This time it won’t be aired on Lifetime. You season 2 has already entered into production in February 2019. So we can predict that it will be released by the end of 2019 or in early 2020.
