Guardians of the Galaxy is an American superhero film based on the Marvel’s superhero team comics of the same name. It is a very captivating movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like the others. The Guardians of the Galaxy is all set to arrive with the third installment after the two successful prequels of the movies. There’s already a lot of buzz around it, and here’s everything we know so far.
The third movie is going to be the last film in the trilogy. Director James Gunn, in conversation with a fan on twitter himself, confirmed that this movie marks the conclusion to the trilogy, and the fans are not so delighted upon hearing the news as they have really loved all the characters.

James Gunn was reinstated as Director in March 2019 after he was fired over offensive tweets. The production was said to begin soon; however, due to the COVID19 outbreak worldwide, the production has been put on hold, and the release is now uncertain.
But Gunn in a tweet recently, stated the things are not different from how they were before the spread of the virus, for the movie. The filming of the movie is scheduled to begin in summer 2020, but things are not in the favor as of now. So, Guardians 3 can be expected to release by mid-2021.

The majority of the main cast is expected to return, and we say this owing to a post made by Gunn. He said his love for Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Star-lord, Yondu, Mantis, Drax, and Nebula and some of the forthcoming heroes goes really deep.
Also, he has specifically confirmed that Pom Klementieff will be returning as Mantis. Perhaps everyone would be returning except Dave Bautista.
Galaxy of Guardians Vol 3 Plot
The storyline for the forthcoming movie is still under wraps, but Gunn hinted that this one would start some sort of seismic shift in the MCU. The third volume will take place after Avengers three and four, as stated by Gunn.
It is presumed that the film deals with the fallout from Avengers: Endgame. It can also be seen dealing with the lead star Gamora’s death. All of this awaits to be seen, till then stay tuned for further updates!
