Lori Harvey ran away from the scene after crashing her car into another parked vehicle on 20 October 2019 near Beverly Hills. Lori Harvey is the step-daughter of entertainer, comedian, and TV host, Steve Harvey.
The incident occurred on the parking lot on the 200 blocks of Moreno Drive in Los Angeles. Soon after bumping into the parked car, Lori walked out of the incident scene. The local police department received a car-crash report at around 9:48 p.m. on Sunday, 20 October. When the cops reached the scene, there was no sign of the driver of the sedan.
The cops started looking around the perimeter and some moments later apprehended Lori when she was walking down the streets, pretending like she was unaware of the crash. The cops were too quick to realize that she was the driver of the car and charged her with two misdemeanors. Since there were no casualties involved, she wasn’t booked.
The two misdemeanors include delaying a police investigation and obstructing a peace officer and hit-and-run, causing property damage. Lori must have called the police after the collision, according to California Law, but instead, she decided to run away. She was later brought before the Los Angeles court, where she pleaded not guilty of hit-and-run case. Lori escaped a year in jail after pleading not guilty.
The 23-year-old model was either on a call with her father, Steve, or texting someone. The reports claimed that she FaceTimed her father after she left the scene and while she was walking down the streets. Her Mercedes G-Wagon flipped on the other side of the road after smashing the parked Prius.
Lori is currently quarantining with her boyfriend and rapper Future at his house, but when the incident happened, she had her break-up with the Grammy Award-winner rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
