The Japanese Manga series- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba became an instant hit after the release of its first season. Written and illustrated by Koyoharu Google, the series has been developed as an anime by Ufotable. The series managed to gain massive popularity, and no wonder the show has been renewed for another season. Directed by Haruo Sotizaki, the show comprised of 26 episodes and we await to see what the forthcoming season holds for us. So here is all we know about it.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
The first season debuted in April 2019 and was great and was highly applauded and undoubtedly, can be called as the best anime of the year. The second season was scheduled to be out by October this year, but due to the outbreak of the COVID19 worldwide, nothing seems to be certain. We could still expect it by 2021. However, there is no official declaration. Although a movie sequel named – Demon slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train has been confirmed to arrive by 2020.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Trailer and Cast
The major cast of the season would be featured again, including Yasuke Hashibira, Nezuko Kamado, Kanao Tsuyari, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Tanjiro Kamado, Genya Shinazuguwa. Some new faces might be a witness, but we don’t have any such speculations yet.
The trailer for the season has not been released yet, but we do have the trailer for the movie sequel. Keep hopeful for the season’s trailer to be out soon so that we can fetch more details about the upcoming season.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot
The story revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, who is the only responsible in his family after the death of his father. He had to confront the brutal death of his whole family, who’s killed by a demon. His sister Nezuko manages to survive but is converted into a demon. Tanjiro then turns into demon Slayer himself after he seeks help from Ginyu, who is a demon slayer himself and recruits Tanjiro to be one. He now embarks on the journey to make his sister a human again and avenge the death of his family. And until the season comes out, we have a movie to entertain us.
