There is something in an animated series that every age person can watch it, whether they are adults or the older ones. If we talk about animated series then the Japanese are best at creating this. They first create a manga series and then give it a version of animated series. There are many such animated series made and one of them is Megalo Box which was first aired in 2018, not that far.
Megalo Box is the Japanese animated series that is based upon a light novel series called, Megalo Box. This series was created in celebration to honor the memory of 50th anniversary of the manga Ashita no Joe. The animated series is directed by Yo Moriyama and was written by Katsuhiko Manabe and Kansaku Kojima. The animated series falls under the studio of TMS Entertainment and 3xCube. This series has released one season and is planning to release the second season soon.
The release date of Megalo Box Season 2
Megalo Box first time aired on 6 April 2018 and ran till 29 June 2018. It had a total of 13 episodes. It was aired on networks like TBS, BS-TBS, and English networks like Adult Swim. The announcement of the season was done by the makers. The director Yo Moriyama said ” I understand that there is a lot of love regarding Megalo Box and I am very happy about it. I am also very happy to say the Megalo Box 2 is in development.” The exact release date of season 2 is yet not confirmed.

The plot of Megalo Box Season 2
The story is about the licensed citizen who lives in a wealthy place in Japan and unlicensed people who live in a slum area of Japan. Megalo Box is a game quite similar to boxing. Joe or Junk Dog is the protagonist of the story. When it comes to the plotline of season 2 then it will start from many years later after the events of season one. The director said a bit the plot that ” there is really not much I can say at this point“. He said that he is trying to give a different angle to the story.
