UAE’s National Center of Meteorology has warned people of the upcoming rain through a series of tweets.
The Air Traffic in and around Dubai is also affected due to the thunderstorm.
Many flights at the Dubai International Airport and the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport have been delayed due to moderate rain and wind over both the airports.

The NCM also reported that people should expect “light to moderate rain over Madinat Zayed, Ghayati and Traif (Al Dhafra area) of Dubai” due to the thunderstorm.
