The Bob Odenkirk starter black comedy crime drama delayed until 2020. Better call Saul is the spin-off prequel to critically acclaimed Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul sets in the early 2000s and already four seasons have been aired. It was renewed to the fifth season but will not be premiered until 2020. The network suggests that they must provide the writers more time regarding the development of the show.
Sarah Barnett president of AMC networks told, “It’s driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show,” Barnett even claimed that series might come to an end but she was strong enough to keep out the mystery.
Chuck’s death concluded Jimmy McGill to revamp into Saul Goodman. Now, Jimmy enters the crime world putting his relationships in trouble. The fourth season even leads nearer to the time frame of Breaking Bad. Co-creator Vince Gilligan described the season as, “this brings us into the world — or at least points us on a path toward the world of Walter White and the territory of Walter White”.
The worthy successor of Breaking Bad is produced by Peter Gould, Vince Gilligan, Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz and Gennifer Hutchison. AMC has even released the two comics of Better Call Saul.
