All the people who are patiently waiting for next installment in the Terminator Franchise should rejoice as Paramount has released six new photos from Terminator 6, Dark Fate.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to come back as the titular of the terminator with Linda Hamilton also returning to the franchise playing the role of Sarah Connor, the mother of the future leader John Connor. This is Linda’s 3rd Movie after she left the franchise in 1991.
After that, This is going to be her first playing Sarah Connor on the big screen after she played that role in Terminator Judgement Day. The director of this movie, Tim Miller also stated in an interview to IGN that Linda’s return to the franchise is what prompted him to think of this story.
And in the recent photos revealed by Paramount, it shows all rugged Linda Hamilton and it looks like she means business.
In the interview, he said, “What makes or breaks a movie is whether I care about the characters when everything starts exploding. I’m sure every action filmmaker says that, but I did really try and focus on the relationships of these characters to one another. And the fact that Linda came back makes this particular Terminator fresh, this story could only continue with her in the role of Sarah Conner. “Linda reinvented this character in a way that both honors who she was before and brings something new to the role,” Miller said.
According to Tim Miller, Terminator Dark Fate is going to follow up after the event of Judgement Day. This means that every movie that came after Judgement day is going to be discredited and non-canon. Those movies include Terminator Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys.
There aren’t any plot details revealed by the Studio as they are keeping the movie under tight wrap. However, it has been revealed that Gabriel Isaac Luna is going to play the bad terminator in Dark Fate. This detail was accidentally leaked by Gabriel Luna IMDb profile where it says he is going to play the terminator.
It looks like Miller is planning on something totally different and therefore he is going to start everything from scratch. Tim Miller made his directorial debut with Deadpool which starred Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Deadpool was a critical and Commerical success which was loved by the fans as many called it as an accurate portrayal of the character and his dark humor.
