Ariana Grande shared a video of her birthday celebrations with her family


    Ariana Grande has had an eventful year. The singer has had 2 consecutive number 1 albums the past year. Her singles 7 Rings and Thank U, Next were all very successful summer singles. She also has a new tour to look forward to this year. Grande would be celebrating her 26th birthday, today.

    The singer took to Instagram recently to share a video of her birthday celebrations. The black and white video showed her parents holding out a cake for Ariana Grande. The cake had 7 ring shaped candles on top of it. It was meant as a tribute to the singer’s hit single, 7 Rings.

    The video had her mother Joan Grande and her father Edward Butera. This was a special moment for Ariana Grande. Her parents had separated when she was around 8 or 9 years old. So, both of them coming together to celebrate her birthday was a sweet gesture. “ sweet and simple ‘:’)” Grande captioned the video.

    Several celebrities took to Twitter to wish the singer on her birthday. Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande’s close friend, wished her alongside other celebrities. Rapper 2 Chainz and Zhavia also wished the singer.

    On her Instagram account, the singer also shared additional tour dates for her Sweetener World Tour. 7 Rings also broke several Spotify records. The song broke the 24 hour streaming record on Spotify. It also broke the Weekly Global Streaming Record on Spotify. The song was the third single from Ariana Grande’s album, Thank U, Next. It had the largest music video debut of 2019.

    Currently on her Sweetener World Tour, Ariana Grande is slated to perform at Toronto in Canada, today. The singer shall be performing in the United States for the major part of this year. She would kick off the US leg of the tour on November.
