Bella Thorne received threats from hacker over her private photographs

Bella Thorne, who had recently engaged in a spat with her ex boyfriend over her passport, found herself in another controversy. The actress claimed that she was being blackmailed over her private photographs. The actress claimed that she felt violated and attacked.

After Bella Thorne’s Twitter account was hacked, there were a series of racist slurs tweeted from her account. There were tweets proclaiming Hitler as a ‘genius’.

Those tweets have since been deleted. The actress then proceeded on to comment about her harrowing experience of being blackmailed. She uploaded a screen grab of a WhatsApp conversation of the hacker blackmailing her.

In order to take matters into her own hands, Bella Thorne published her own private photos. She claimed that she did not want the hacker to benefit off it. She added that there is more things in her life to look forward to and celebrate. The actress wanted to look past the hacking incident.

“For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and (expletive) sick of it, I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW U DONT GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME. I can sleep tonight better knowing I took my power back. U can’t control my life u never will.” The actress wrote on Twitter alongside the photos that she published on her account.

“I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted some special person to see.” Bella Thorne commented on the harrowing incident of having her private photographs hacked.

However, Bella Thorne is not the only actress to have been a victim of hacking. A few years ago, A list actresses had thier iCloud account hacked. Actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and Aubrey Plaza had their private photos hacked and published online.
