The game is about Sam Bridges, who must journey across devastated terrain, crawling with otherworldly threats to rescue vanishing mankind. The game is set after the collapse of civilization.
The game was first announced at E3 2016 by the legendary game creator, Hideo Kojima and received a positive review. It is his first game in collaboration Kojima Production after their disbandment from Konami in 2015. According to Kojima, it is an all-new genre in which the player has to bond with its environment.
“As I’m getting the same questions so I shall re-post. DS is not a stealth game. Could move subjectively but not an FPS shooting game. it’s a brand new genre called action game/strand game (Social strand system).” Kojima said on his social media account.
A trailer was released on May 29 this year which was much appreciated by the fans for its unique storyline and as well as gameplay. According to Kojima, one of the critical key aspects of the announcement trailer was the idea of a connection between life and death.
In the gameplay, the player can interact with the environment and can wander outside of the character’s body. The player can even recover items when they die. This will certainly give players a new experience
The trailer further revealed about what the players have to deal with in this dark but not horror game. The release date of it was announced to be on November 8, 2019.
