Between Amazon superhero series ‘The Boys ‘ and hopeful ‘Dredd 2’, it looks like Karl Urban has a busy schedule planned. And we’ve got all the details on the scheduled releases for this superstar.
When Do We See Karl Urban Hit The Screen?
‘The Boys’ releases on July 6, 2019, on Amazon Prime Video. There’s not a long wait for that one!

But ‘Dredd 2’ is still sort of up in the air. Karl Urban has expressed his interest in the Dredd sequel multiple times, but it hasn’t happened yet. What we do know though, is that if Karl ever stars in it, it will be phenomenal.
All The Action
The Boys is about a group of superheroes called “the boys” who are on a mission to rid the world of the corrupt superheroes who have no honor or talent and fight dirty. Kal Urban has joined that story in the role of Billy Butcher. Butcher will be a mysterious character and brutal fighter who will play to Hugie’s (played by Jack Quaid) emotions and recruit him to help with his battles.
Actors Jessie T. Usher, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, and Nathan Mitchell will be starring alongside him.
The Dredd 2, on the other hand, should draw from The Dredd’s violent, fast, and crazy vibe. Dredd is about a group of feared judges responsible for the law as executioners. We’ll probably see action in both, but Dredd 2 would be far more heart-racing!

On to the cast for Dredd 2, we could see physical abled character playing Olivia Thirlby return as Karl’s partner. Depending on the plot, we’d also probably have a new villain for Karl to go up against.
But in either movie, we know that Karl Urban is going to pull it off in his signature style, leaving us all with some mind-blowing drama.
