The 24-year-old landed the cover of Rolling Stone’s “Hot Issue” for July 2019. On the cover, the badlands singer shows off her natural hair, her signature pixie growing a few inches longer, beautiful skin and unshaven underarms. With minimal makeup, gold earrings and a simple white tank top, Halsey is rocking the cover of Rolling Stone.
Thousands of comments flooded the star’s social media. People are praising Halsey for her conscious liberation and praising Rolling Stone for leaving the photos untouched. While there was some backlash (mostly from insecure people who can’t stand how a natural female looks), her loyal fans and celebrity friends were quick to defend her. Demi Lovato and Zara Larsson were among people positively commenting on the photo.
