Jessica Jones Season 3 is going to be dark and creepy, June 14 release date & more

Jessica Jones will return for the third season and maybe for the final season after Netflix cancelled it on February 18, 2019. This engaging anti-hero based on the character of Marvel Comics received critical acclaim for the story and direction. Created for Netflix by Melissa Rosenberg, the show’s Season Two has left us in a climactic finale.

The teaser for the third season naming ‘Date Announcement’ was dropped by Netflix citing that even heroes cannot save themselves. The official synopsis dropped by Netflix reads,

When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down. But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

The teaser was just short of 34 seconds but was enough to deduce what we could be expecting for the upcoming season. The trailer introduces the hallway of Jessica’s investigation headquarters called Alias Headquarter. A baffling voice is heard in the background that says a cheat and fraud, probably pointing to Jessica. The hallway has portentous red light with dark sound in the background and a man standing in the hallway.

Jessica Jones is set in the same Marvel Cinematic Universe where the mad-titan brought decimation. There are lots of creeps and psychopath in the universe. This man could be the biggest villain she ever faced. But the question arises who could be that person?

Everything unfolds when the show returns on June 14th.
