This is the first time for Jonas Brothers to top the Billboard Artist 100 Chart which was released on 18 June as they jumped up from No. 14 to 1. The album ‘Happiness Begins’ is their third to rank first on the Billboard 200 chart (dated June 22). The trio reigns as the set earned 414,000 equivalent album units at the ending of June 13 in the US, out of which 357,000 were in album sales, according to Neilson Music.

The biggest week debut of this year…

This is the biggest week debut of 2019 for any album in terms of units and album sales. Happiness begins released on June 7. It is the JoBros’ first studio album after their 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times. On the Billboard Hot 100, the trio already has three entries from their new set with “Sucker” at No. 4, “Cool” at 44 and “Only Human” at 93. This also empowered the brothers ranking at the Billboard Artist 100.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US, and the ranking depends on several factors like traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Similarly, the Billboard Artist 100 measures artist activity based on music consumption, album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming, and social media fan interaction.

    Victory after their hiatus…

The fans are over the moon with their idols’ victory and are praising and congratulating the trio everywhere on the Internet. Well, it doesn’t look like the trio was in a hiatus.
