We have seen our favorite actors fighting and kicking some on screen. We enjoy seeing them fight even if we know it’s fictional. Now imagine, you get a chance to see two celebrities fighting in a cage match. Your excitement would be ramped-up. Well, Justin Bieber took a forward step in that direction by challenging Tom Cruise.
What actually happened
On Sunday night, the world-famous singer challenged the Action superstar, Tom Cruise out of nowhere and apparently without any reason. Justin Tweeted, “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?”.
This sent social media into a frenzy with many celebrities giving a piece of their mind on the said challenge. UFC champion, Conor McGregor agreed to sponsor the fight by tweeting, “If Tom Cruise is brave enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, as he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”

Are we going to get a fight?
Well, apparently Justin has backed down from the fight claiming he was never serious about it. Furthermore, he also accepted that he was no match for Tom Cruise by saying that Tom was above his weight class. TMZ asked Bieber Wednesday whether the fight was real. He said, “Nah,” adding: “It was just a random tweet. I’d have to get in shape. I think he’d be out of my weight class. He’s got that dad strength.” This was the closest we could have gotten to see two celebrities fighting in a cage for real. Well, Justin, you have watered down many hopes.
