Seth Meyers revealed that he had spent his Wednesday shooting back tequila with Rihanna for his “Day Drinking” segment.
In which the host gets laughable drunk with a celebrity guest instead of sitting within a traditional interview. (Past guests includes Kelly Clarkson, Ina Garten, and Meyers’ entire family.)
Seth Meyers has made no secret and doubt about his love for Rihanna. As the “Late Night” host revealed Jimmy Fallon in February, he’s “fully in love” with the pop star and business mogul (he explained that his wife is fine with it because “she’s also in love with Rihanna and it’s what we have in common”)
He explained about her advice for you and your wife [in which Meyers questioned Rihanna how he can blow his wife away and Rihanna answered you said it: blow her away] has been getting a lot of pickups.
I honestly had no idea what she was saying, and then what I realized how perfectly timed it was. I mean, it was so brilliantly delivered.
He also said that he thinks that he just want to bask in this for a little bit longer, As I don’t want Rihanna to think I’m just moving on that quickly.
I want to live that moment again and soon. It was a wonderful experience. And I never want to forget about that. Let’s see when we get this golden opportunity again. And let’s see when we drink together in the day again. But I am excited for that to happen soon. As I am eagerly waiting for it.
