Rick and Morty 4: A Classic Rickstorm, Thanksgiving Came Early?

Folks, grab onto your couches and get your Interdimensional Cable remotes in hand. Adult Swim’s primetime hit show Rick and Morty just got renewed for its fourth season. And not just for another season but we’re also getting a 70 episode renewal. It’s going to be a big one. And here’s all you need to know about Rick and Morty 4.

For the first three seasons, the series follows the brilliant yet sociopathic scientist Rick Sanchez and grandson Morty Smith on crazy, dangerous and wild adventures across the infinite multiverse and parallel dimensions. Filled with dark humor, existentialism, and catchphrases like “Wubba lubba dub dub!”  the show is a hit for all the right reasons.

As the ever-wise Mr. Poopybutthole revealed to us in the post-credits scene of season three, season four was going to be a long, long, wait. While there is no trailer or teaser for the season in sight as of now. However, the creators of the show have teased us with season four in this hilarious commercial for Trover Saves The Universe. (Word of advice, if you’re in a professional setting, wear headphones; they curse a lot. A LOT.)

“Man, it’s going to be a while ‘till Season four, you know?” says Morty to his Grandpa in the first few seconds of the clip. Rick responds, “Yeah, four months.”

While November is technically five months away, it can refer to the fact that Rick and Morty 4 might premiere in the first week of November itself.  Adult Swim confirmed on May 15 that Season 4 would premiere in November 2019, possibly around Thanksgiving.

As for the returning cast and crew, Justin Roiland will be back for voicing both leads Rick and Morty. Whereas Spencer Grammer will voice Morty’s sister Summer Smith, Chris Parnell as Morty’s perpetually jobless father Jerry Smith, S and Sarah Chalke as the horse cardiologist Beth Sanchez.

Till then, catch up on the first three seasons of Rick and Morty, available exclusively on Adult Swim and Netflix.
