    Tick-tock, Tick-tock…. The HBO’s Watchmen tv show created by Lost’s Damon Lindelöf is very much on the way. Based on the comic series of the same name by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon, this superhero/antihero happens to be premiered this fall.

    Though the production began last October, it has been keeping the HBO fans in waiting for quite some time.

    When is the ‘Watchmen’ release?

    The release will be premiered this autumn. Seeing how we cannot stick to a specific date of the release; the range of the expected dates is left for prediction.     The cast that was confirmed for the Watchmen series is exciting. Regina King will play Angela Abraham whereas Jeremy Irons will play Ozymandias. Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Tom Mison, Jean Smart, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Louis Gossett Jr., Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming, Sara Vickers, James Wolk, and Dylan Schombing have among others are also reported to be a part of the cast.Watchmen HBO series

    What is the plot of Watchmen?

    Lindelöf took to Instagram to convey his initial intentions towards the series. An officially released synopsis read: “Set in an alternate history where ‘superheroes’ are treated as outlaws, this drama series embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.”

    While attempting to bring back the nostalgia and originality of the original comic series, this series also aims for creating a new ground with its exciting plot.

    With Lindelöf being the chief writer, Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams and Joseph Iberti have also been part of the executive producing team.
