Young Justice Makes a Comeback: Everything You Need to Know

It’s almost been a decade since the first season of Young Justice was aired on Cartoon Network.  However, after a significant time jump of two seasons, viewers are left on a cliffhanger when due to low merchandise sales,  the show was called off.

Eventually,  in a brief time, the show successfully picked up a pretty dedicated fanbase. It’s now aired on DC’s digital media service, DC Universe and Netflix.

The show made a comeback with most of its original cast and creators and still feels very authentic in the first few seasons. Viewers witness character deaths and literal blood in people’s hands. This helps in raising the stakes and strengthens the darker tone.

Young Justice Makes a Comeback: Everything You Need to Know

Season 2 of Young Justice very surprisingly takes a mature and political angle.  It majorly focuses on the humanitarian crisis. The children possessing the metahuman gene are being kidnapped for experimentation and are exported to other worlds.

If you haven’t seen seasons 1 or 2, then you should jump into this, unless you will find yourself missing a few beats. Young Justice: Outsiders provides little exposition; this is one of the best things about the show. The cast is enormous, and on top of that, there are clones of characters and new personas being introduced.

The first six episodes of season 2, ain’t going to give you a lot of facetime. The season mainly focuses on Black Lightning, Nightwing, Superboy, Tigress and Miss Martian. We also get to witness three notable additions,  Prince Brion Markov, Halo, and Forager.

To the conclusion,  it felt like MCU’s handling a lot more parts of Outsiders.  Also, specific decent praises were given out. Well, it felt like more than a coincidence when the episode titles spell out “PREPARE THE ANTI-LIFE EQUATION.
