In the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder a new character of female Thor will be introduced, it is to be played by Natalie Portman who played Jane Foster

Thor has successfully completed tree films, and recently Marvel Studios confirmed the fourth Thor movie titled as “Thor: Love and Thunder ” at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. And Taika Waititi will return to direct Thor 4.

Chris Hemsworth will again play the role of Thor and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie will also comeback in the Fourth part.

The current headline regarding the Thor 4 is that Natalie Portman is returning as not just Jane Foster but as female Thor.

Jane Foster was only mentioned once in the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok.
So, everyone thought Portman’s character has been given an exit from the MCU and hence no future in the MCU.

But now we have got a new character of Female Thor to be played by Natalie Portman.

Director Taika Waititi has explained that Thor: Love and Thunder are based on a 2014 comic book storyline in which Thor loses his abilities to use his beloved hammer in battle as he lost his Hammer and then an unknown woman who appears to be Jane Foster picks that hammer and takes the possession of Thor’s powers.

She even fights with Thor’s Villains like Malekith the Accurse.
Thor then wants his Mjolnir back, but when he gets to know that a woman is using its power, he changes his mind and has second thoughts.
