Fans are eagerly waiting for the ninth installment of Fast and Furious. The team celebrated Michelle Rodriguez’s birthday on the sets. And courtesy to the celebrations, fans were surprised with the first photo of the movie’s cast which was posted by Nathalie Emmanuel on her Instagram account. Other cast members also uploaded videos from the set.

In her post, Rodriguez wrote about the 18 years-long journey of Fast and Furious saying that the saga continues its message of inclusion, with the guilty pleasure of action movie fun. In the video, the cast was seen singing the birthday song for the badass actress who was feeling just as awkward as we normally do.

Who all are in the sequel?
Fast and Furious 9 comes back with Vin Diesel and his “family” minus Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham who will appear in the upcoming spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw. Vin will reprise his role of Dom Toretto with Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Emmanuel as Ramsey, Ludracis as Tej Parker and Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce.
This time we have two new inclusions- WWE wrestler John Cena and Anna Sawai in the place of Dwayne and Jason respectively. Finn Cole and Vinnie Bennet will also join the cast for the first time. The new movie is directed by Justin Lin who has also directed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth installments. The sequel is also bringing back Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren.
Release dates…
As usual, the movie will be full of mindblowing action and breathtaking speeding cars. Fast and Furious 9 is currently in production in London. It is expected to release on 20 May 2020. So till then, fans can watch Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw which will be released on 2 August 2019.
