One of the most versatile actor from Bollywood Govinda took social media by storm after his video recently got viral. In this video, Govinda has claimed that noted Hollywood director James Cameron offered him a role. In an interview, Govinda claimed that back in time a role in 2009 blockbuster Avatar is being provided to him, but he declined that offer. His statement in which he has claimed to reject a role in role in one of the most successful films of all time had people coming up with memes to respond to the claim.
On a talk show in India titled “Aap ki Adalat,” Govinda has claimed that he has rejected many Bollywood blockbusters including Taal, Gadar and Devdasamong others in his career. Then he gave one statement that blew everyone’s mind; he claimed that he has turned down Cameron’s ambitious project. He added in his statement that he has suggested ‘Avatar’ title to James for his blockbuster.
Govinda has also claimed the reason why he has turned n to play a role in Avatar. Govinda said the main reason why he has rejected this movie is that as the director required him to shoot for around 410 days. He gave another idea that he is totally against using body paint; that is why he rejected the film.
Govinda said in the statement that “I gave the title of the film. It turned out to be a super hit film. I had informed him that the film would do well. I told him that I feel it will take seven years for him to complete the film. He got angry. When I said so, he asked, ‘How can you be so sure that I won’t be able to make Avatar for seven years?’ I told him that what he was imagining was something almost impossible,”
