Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s son, Louis Ducruet, recently got married to his college sweetheart Marie Chevallier on 26th July. The marriage was a two-day ceremony. Here are the details from marriage place to the attire to the guests.
Louis Ducruet is the son of Daniel Ducruet and Princess Stephanie of Monaco. The groom is the grandson of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace of Monaco. Louis Ducruet met Chevallier in college in 2011 and proposed to her in 2018.
There was a two-day wedding. Which includes one civil marriage on 26th July followed by a reception on Saturday at Catholic Church and then there was a party hosted.
Marie Chevallier, the Bride’s outfits
The whole ceremony’s highlight was Chevallier’s three different outfits of different occasions. For the civil ceremony Marie wore a white jumpsuit designed by Rosa Clará. The detailed description of which was posted by the designer on Instagram, including a sketch. There was a lace detailing and silk material all giving it a royal look.
The second outfit which Chevallier wore for the Church ceremony the next day was a gown. It had so exquisite detailing and 300 hours of craftsmanship. It was more of a traditional look she had that time.
After the main ceremony, the bride changed to a more relaxed look on Saturday evening, also a dress designed by Rosa Clará, a mullet-hemmed lace dress.
The first part of the wedding, the civil one took place at Monica’s Royal Cathedral, an homage to Louis’s grandfather Prince Ranier. Groom’s mother Princess Stephanie had tears in her eyes before the ceremony.
The arrival of the bride to the ceremony
The bride arrived at the ceremony in a vintage Rolls Royce beautifully decorated with pink and white flowers. The magnificent dress was made by Atelier Boisanger and her sister in law Pauline Ducruet.

The guests were Princess Caroline of Hanover and three of her children including Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassim.
