Martin Scorsese is Developing a New True-Crime Thriller with Leonardo DiCaprio


    The Academy Award winner, Martin Scorsese is coming yet again to provide the never before experienced taste in movie-watching with the new true-crime thriller with Leonardo DiCaprio.

    The new project from the remarkable director of the time is titled as Killers of the Flower Moon. This movie project will be the adaptation of the third non- fictional book by the American Journalist, David Grann named, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. Double Day released the book on April 18, 2017.

    Scorsese will be working along with the veteran actors and both Academy Award winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Scorsese and De Niro have a great relationship in film making, and fans undoubtedly believe that the collaboration between these two will ultimately bring breathtaking movie watching experience. Scorsese and De Niro had collaborated for the films like Raging Bull, Goodfellas, New York, New York and  The King of Comedy, which is regarded as the greatest films of all time. They are currently working together for yet another gripping gangster-crime drama. The Irishman set to release on September 27, 2019.

    Leo and Scorsese are frequent in collaborating phenomenal movies. Their latest collaboration was The Wolf Of Wall Street. The Departed starring Leonardo DiCaprio had earned Martin Scorsese The Academy Award in 2006.

    The rights for the book to make the film was acquired by Imperative Entertainment willing to pay $5 million. Eric Roth (one who is famous for stories like Forrest Gump and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) is set to be on board to write the screenplay for the film. This Leo-Scorsese developed film is expected to start filming from Spring 2020.

    The film is set in the 1920s where FBI encountered its first homicide investigation after the strings of murders that beleaguered Osage Indian tribe in Oklahoma.
