Thirteen reasons why is a drama series developed for Netflix by Brian Yorkey. a television adaptation of the 2007 novel, Thirteen Reasons Why written by Jay Asher. The story is about a seventeen-year-old high school student, Clay Jensen, and his friend Hannah Baker, who commits suicide for having lack of support from her friends and her school after facing a culture of sexual assault and gossip. She then goes on to decide to have a box of cassette tapes recorded by Hannah in the weeks before her suicide detailing 13 reasons why she chose to end her life and having them circulated to the people who were involved in the decision.
The series is produced by July Moon Productions, Kicked to the Curb Productions, Anonymous Content, and Paramount Television, with Yorkey and Diana Son serving as showrunners. Previously we have seen two seasons aired on the web series giant- Netflix. Both the seasons have grossed well in terms of fame and fortune and the cast is almost done wrapping up the season 3 of this very acclaimed and famed show recently.
A member of the cast, Dylan Minnette recently created a buzz with his tweet after reading the final script of season three of 12 Reasons Why. According to him, the members of the cast receiver the scripts for the final three episodes, and he couldn’t help but share his opinions on them. He wrote “I know I never really tweet about 13 reasons why but I gotta say some of these last few scripts of season 3 are the show’s best. alright, that’s all,”
