Vanessa Kirby has addressed the rumor that Vanessa Kirby will appear as Cat Woman in the upcoming film ‘The Batman,’ she said it would be a dream for her to play cat woman and she will accept it if she would be offered
It is rumored Vanessa Kirby will join Matt Reeves ‘The Batman’ as Catwoman. But when The Kirby was asked about the truth she said :
“I don’t know anything about it,”
, “Oh my god, are you kidding? I have to do lots of squats. I mean, literally, lots of squats.”
After that she went on talking about the workout routine she’d would have to follow if she will play Catwoman.
When she was asked, whether she would accept the role of cat woman if she is offered, then she replied :
“Are you kidding?! I would love to be Catwoman. Oh my god, it would be a dream.”
If she will get to play Cat Woman, then it would be a dream come true for Kirby.
Vanessa Kirby has done numerous films, TV Series and Theater productions.
Recently, she was appeared in 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
And  In the upcoming Hobbs and Shaw, she will play the role of Hattie Shaw, an MI6 field agent, and sister of Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw. And it is to be released on August 2.
The character of Catwoman has been portrayed on-screen several times by many actors including Eartha Little, Michelle Pfeiffer, Camren Bicondova, Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway.
For now, there is no official confirmation that Catwoman will appear in “The Batman.”
The Batman is written and directed by Matt Reeves, and the film is set to be released on 25th June 2021.
