It’s been a tumultuous few years for Johnny Depp. After his multi-million dollar divorce from Amber Heard, the 56-year-old superstar filed a defamation lawsuit against the actress after she penned a Huffington Post piece about domestic violence seemingly targeted at him.
Depp claims that Heard’s article impacted the public’s perception of him and that he lost much in monetary value and job opportunities as a result, with the piece having also apparently been the reason Depp was initially let go from his iconic role as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
But even through all this upheaval, Depp has possibly managed to find love yet again.
Since earlier this summer, Depp has been consistently linked to a woman named Polina Glenn, a Russian dancer in her 20s.
A source close to the rumored couple told Daily Mail, ‘Polina met Johnny at a party in LA. She gets invited to a lot of stuff and ran into him. She’s a dancer and a hot girl. She was just chilling at the party and didn’t know who he was when he came over to introduce himself. They hit it off.’
‘He’s got legal issues with his ex-wife and then here’s this beautiful young Russian dancer, that doesn’t want anything and doesn’t even know who he is. The Russian girls don’t know him. They have no clue about actors and people always look different in person. When she found out who he was, she was happy,’ the source concluded.
Despite having foregone quite a few roles due to his legal troubles, Depp remains part of blockbuster franchises and is set to reprise his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the third Fantastic Beasts film late next year.
