She won ABC’s Dancing which started two times and became the judge of the show later. She stepped into the acting industry with her lead role in the movie Footloose. Julianne won Emmy and other notable awards. Julianne dated Brooks Laich from 2013, got engaged on August 18, 2015, and married him in 2017 on July 8.
About her opening up on gender transformation
Julianne told that after her four months into the marriage, she realized her changes and went into a significant transformation, it took time to understand and accept the changes she was going through. Julianne told her husband that “ You know I am not straight. Right?” “I m not, but I chose to be with you”. According to Julianne, she was connecting with her women inside, and there was a little part of her which wanted Brooks by her side.
