The duo- Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been much talked about. Their relationship status has raised the curiosity of fans. Were they dating? Have they officially broken up?
The couple looked a lot more than sizzling in the video of Pillowtalk, which released in 2016. Since then the couple has been rumoured to date. Though, the two never made it official, they did not deny it either. Around this time, adorable pictures of the singer and the model started trending.
They also did a steamy and stunning photo shoot for Vogue, breaking the fashion stereotypes for theme- ‘gender-fluidity’. For the ‘Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology’ Met Gala, Gigi and Malik walked the red carpet as couple looking like a pair of wildly stylish robots in May 2016.
In September 2017, the model and singer spent the Muslim holiday Eid, with both of their moms. Spending time with family suggested some serious, headstrong relationship.
For Halloween, Zigi, as the couple is popularly called, dressed up as Spider Man and The Black Cat. The super cute two, were all over the Instagram, getting tagged as couple goals.
Things got a little sour in March 2018. They both posted very emotional posts on their respective twitter accounts announcing their breakup but nevertheless stating mutual respect and fondness for each other.
Following the break up, Zayn unfollowed Gigi, and her mother Yolanda on Instagram. Allegedly, the split did not last long and a month later, they were caught making out on the streets of New York City.
Previously Malik was involved with Little Mix singer, Perrie Edwards while Gigi Hadid was in a relationship with Australian pop star, Cody Simpson.
Supposedly, Malik had tattooed Gigi’s eyes on his chest, thus making the love permanent. Will the two get back together and be a perfect match? Only time will tell.
