In the latest 20th episode Quiet Conversations, Kaldur-ahm aka Aquaman kissed a fellow Atlantean, Wynette. The same-sex kiss had all the fans rejoicing and happy about one of the main characters shown as gay. Well, not gay as he was romantically involved with girls in the past. So, he might be a bisexual.

    Who’s Kaldur?

Kaldur is one of the six teenage superheroes who originally formed the Justice League‘s covert operation group. He became Arthur Curry’s protege after saving the first Aquaman’s life. He worked hard to become the successor of Aquaman. Previously known as Aqualad, he took over as Aquaman. Wynnde is an Atlantean who works for King Orin.

Young Justice: Outsiders is the third season of DC’s superhero series Young Justice. It is developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Welsman. The series originally aired on Cartoon Network for two seasons from 2010 to 2013. But after its cancellation, it was picked up by Netflix and got renewed by Warner Bros.

The third season has a total of 26 episodes but it was split into two separate sections each having 13 episodes. The first half was released on 4 January 2019 on DC’s new digital platform, DC Universe. The second half was released on July 2 and is still ongoing.

Fans want Jason Momoa as LGBT+…

DC Rebirth comic introduced Aqualad as a gay teenager in 2016. It seems the new animated series is keeping on with the trend. Reportedly, there are more LGBT+ characters after DC Rebirth series. Fans liked the kissing scene so much that many are insisting for Jason Momoa to be portrayed as LGBT+ in the movie. Well, we can hope for it.

DC’s arch-nemesis Marvel has also confirmed that Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson will be shown as LGBT+ in the MCU. The actress said in an interview that the new king of Asgard is ‘looking for her queen’.
