The fast and furious has been touted as the next biggest action movie of the next year. The movie is directed by Justin Lin. The film is going to be an espionage movie featuring race cars. The movie franchise over the year has moved away from its street racing roots.

After the lockdown caused by the pandemic, the shooting of the film was indefinitely suspended. The date was fixed to be April 2nd, next year, which is 2021. There have been no announcements if the shooting will presume the release date will be pushed forward or not. As of now, nothing is sure.
The cast of Fast and Furious 9
The old cast is set to return for the new film. The ninth movie in the franchise will be starring Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto; he has left his life of delinquency and slow down with his partner and love Letty Ortiz acted out by Michelle Rodriguez.
The supporting cast brings back Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto; she is sister to Jakob and DomDom and last but not the least Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce.
The plot of Fast and Furious 9
The plotline of the movie follows Dom’s younger brother Jakob who is played by John Cena. He has teamed up the old enemy Cipher to bring down Dominic and his family. Jakob is trained as an assassin and high-performance driver. Someone who is always in the toe to toe with Dom, who is a car mechanic. There is a seeming rivalry between the brothers, but the cause is unknown.

Hobbs and Shaw won’t be featuring in this movie. But the franchise has brought another favorite fan character back from the dead that is Han. He was seemingly killed by Shaw in the aftermath of the Tokyo drift.
Cardi b is going to join the cast, it was revealed back in October 2019.
