Joker actor Joaquin Phoenix and his fiancé Rooney Mara are reportedly expecting their first child together. The Hollywood sweethearts have always tried to keep their private life away from the media’s attention, and thanks to coronavirus pandemic, they are quarantining at their Los Angeles home, keeping a low profile.
The news swirled around the internet after Carol actress was spotted wearing baggy clothes out in public. The reports from reputable sources confirmed that the 35-year-old actress is potentially six-months pregnant. She was pictured when she arrived at her 37-year-old sibling’s house to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.
Kate Mara (also an actress and fashion model) welcomed the first child with Fantastic Four actor and husband Jamie Bell. Rooney Mara arrived at Kate’s house with a bouquet and a baggy T-shirt. Neither Phoenix nor Rooney has commented on the reports about the pregnancy.
The 45-year-old actor met the aspiring actress at the set of science fiction romantic drama, Her written and directed by Spike Jonze. However, they didn’t start dating each other but remained good friends. The destined couple later reunited at the set of biblical drama, Mary Magdalene, in 2016, where Rooney played the titular character.
They were frequently spotted together, and later, they moved to the house in Hollywood Hills. Rooney was noticed wearing an engagement ring for numerous times in 2019. The couple finally confirmed that they had a private engagement in July 2019.

Rooney Mara will appear in the remake of the 1947 classic psychological thriller film, Nightmare Alley. Mara will appear in the movie along with Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchet, while Guillermo del Toro will direct the movie.
