Sherlock is coming yet again to embark on another journey to solve mysteries. The series of adventures was a massive hit, and no wonder a third one is on its way.
The earlier Sherlock Holmes movie – A game of Shadows was very well received and performed really good at the box office, which undoubtedly paved the way for a third one. Guy Ritchie is going to be replaced by Dexter Fletcher as the Director for the forthcoming movie.
The production has already begun, and the investigative thriller is confirmed to enthrall you. The movie was supposed to be out by the end of 2020 but got delayed. And now it is finally arriving and here is everything we know about it…
RELEASE DATE:
Sherlock Holmes 3 is going to be a Christmas treat for the fans and is all set to be released on December 22, 2021. The production started this year itself but was put on hold because of the current situation of the COVID19 pandemic worldwide. There might even be a delay in the scheduled release because of the same reason. We keep hoping for the scheduled release, though.
CAST AND TRAILER:
The majority cast returns to reprise their epic roles, including Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law as Dr. John Watson, who was highly applauded for their previous performances.
Rachel McAdams is presumed to return as Irene Adler, Stephen fry as Mycroft Holmes, Kelly Reilly as Watson’s wife, Eddie Marson, as Inspector Lestrade. The official announcement for the cast is yet to be done, and we expect it soon. Unfortunately, there’s no trailer yet to catch up on, and looking at the release date for the movie; it’s a bit early to expect one.
PLOT:
There have been no revelations regarding the storyline for the forthcoming movie. But as we know, the movie will be filled with thrill, adventure, and mystery to unravel as we witnessed Holmes jumping with the professor and assumed to be dead.
But he’s seen alive, so we suspect that the professor might return as well. However, there are no official confirmations. We still have to wait to get more details out as we highly await to explore the journey of Holmes in this movie.
