Royals’ Salvador Perez injures ulnar collateral ligament, could nee surgery

An MRI has revealed that there is an injury in Salvador Perez’s ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. This has prompted the Kansas City Royals to announce on Friday that came out with an official statement that catcher Salvador Perez has been sidelined indefinitely. This injury came out after Salvador Perez’s workout session, earlier this week.

Perez will be leaving for Los Angeles next week to Dr. Neal ElAttrache and get a second opinion from him on the MRI. But this injury could be very serious for Perez’s game this season because if the injury is serious enough to require surgery then he could out of the 2019 season.
