New Orleans, Louisiana: According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Glen Boyd, a JPSO deputy was shot near the Westbank Expressway on Wednesday.
Boyd said although the exact time and place of the shooting is not clear, the JPSO received a call of a shooting near Westbank Expressway and Terry Parkway.
After the shooting, the deputy was transported to the University Medical Center where he is being treated.
