Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will release sometime in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s phase 4. James Gunn has been rehired to film the movie.
Endgame shows us that Thor leaves with the Guardians of the Galaxy in their spaceship. The character of Thor was emotionally scarred in the movie. He lost everyone from his family and saw them all killed (especially Loki). He suffered from depression and anxiety.
He fits in the (As)Guardians of the Galaxy team. GOTG is known for its humor and Thor has proven his sense of humor time and again in the Marvel movies.
We’re excited to see if Thor returns in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. But it’s not just us, even Karen Gillan (Nebula) is excited about it.
When asked about that possibility, Gillan said, “Yes. I think that would be hilarious, to see Thor and Star-Lord in some sort of captain rivalry. I think drunk Thor would fit in more, though.”
No plot details or Cast updates have been revealed by James Gunn. So, it is still a mystery whether Thor will be there in the GOTG 3.
Since Adam Warlock is supposedly the main villain alongside the High Priestess Ayesha, it would take all the power the Guardians can collect. Thor is a great tool against the villain.
James Gunn has ideas for Rocket. We can expect to see more of Rocket and his character development in this movie.
So even though the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie is a bit far if you want of the superhero action you can check out the upcoming set to release in June.
