Delay of One Punch Man’s new episode leaves fans in a frenzy

The latest episode of One Punch Man has been delayed and fans are not pleased about it.

Due to the airing of the French Opening tennis tournament 2019, the fans will not be able to watch the new episode of One Punch Man. Creators have also confirmed that it will not be released on US streaming site, Hulu. Fans will have to wait an entire week for episode 21 of the series.

The creators posted the announcement on Twitter:
“Due to the French Open 2019 schedule, One-Punch Man episode 21, ‘The Strongest Trouble’, has been delayed its broadcast,” the announcement read. “It will broadcast on June 11. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Fans had very strong reactions to the news, and flooded the internet with their disappointment over the cancellation.

Hulu, the streaming site, who has no control over this apologized to the people on Twitter, saying the episode will be available on June 11, knowing that fans were looking forward to the next part of the story.

To lighten the mood of watchers, the creator, also known as ONE on Twitter, poked fun at the break and shared a sketch of Genos making a serve but hitting Sonic instead because of his bad aim; it also shows Saitama trying to warn him. He tried to show that this time One Punch Man was too slow to stop it (the break).

The main reason fans were not happy was because the last episode ended in a cliffhanger and they were eager to find out about what would happen next.

The synopsis of Season 2 suggests that there Earth is in grave danger and Saitama along with his disciple Genos, who are now a part of the Hero Association, must help save it. There is much for fans to look forward to once the airing of the series has resumed.
