There has been no official date of release but fans are soon hoping for an announcement. CD Projekt Red has geared up for the release of Cyberpunk 2077 through its newly opened online retail store. The retail store boasts of merchandise fashioned after the developers latest titles. Items from Cyberpunk 2077 are live on the store and included in the collection.

There’s some good news for people attending E3 as well as the developers announced the public can view everything they are bringing to the table at E3. Last year, CD Projekt Red put up exclusive closed-door presentations at E3.

CD Projekt Red’s global community lead Marcin Momot clarified that the showings of this year would be different. In a tweet, he mentioned that the display this year would be different from what fans are accustomed.

It seems like the developers are planning something grand for Cyberpunk 2077. The CEO of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kicinski, mentioned in his blog post, “ We will be taking part in the upcoming edition of E3, which is shaping up to be the most important fair in CD Projekt’s history. We want to be even more prominent in Los Angeles than we were last year.”

An hour-long demo of the game released in 2018, gave the fans a glimpse of what to expect. The game’s mission structure, character customisation, the narrative is driven by choice, the weapons and the battles were all showcased in the demo. The video game itself was traded back in 2013.

Although everything is well and good, there is just one problem. And this problem could be very big depending on how you look at it. There have been recent leaks and rumour that suggests that CD Projekt Red might not be releasing Cyberpunk 2077 this year because of some delays in the development cycle. Although CD Projekt Red hasn’t confirmed anything yet but we could hear an announcement by them at the E3 which is just around the corner.
