With the current discussion, it is perplexing to decide which one is better: Cyberpunk 2077 or Death Stranding.

There’s one similarity in both the games: they star the stars. In Cyberpunk 2077 Keanu Reeves’ involvement has left the fans taken by surprise. But that’s not all; Death Stranding too has a Hollywood celebrity involved: Norman Reedus who will be Sam; the main character in the game. They both got their differences. Cyberpunk 2077 is a sci-fi game while Death Stranding is more emotion-based.
They both are action games, that’s not a doubt. Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have an edge with its adaptation from Cyberpunk 2020. One important observation is that Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person game while Death Stranding is initially a third-person game. First-person games generally tend to connect more to the players and keep them better engaged.
Cyberpunk 2077 Got More Fan Following
The game setting is thoughtful, with all the material of the highly detailed Cyberpunk 2020. The fans of Cyberpunk 2020 are huge, and they took no time to accept the upcoming 2077, therefore increasing the fan base.
The combat feature is exciting and customizable. From the trailer, one can deduce that Cyberpunk 2077’s art style and music will be better than that of Death Stranding. There’s no hype from CDPR, it is purely fans who are doing the talking which is not quite the case with Death Stranding – Kojima himself is creating the buzz, trying to attract players.
When Are Cyberpunk 2077 and Death Stranding Releasing?
Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released in 2020. Death Stranding will be released later this year. It seems that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be an epic Games Store exclusive, what a sigh of relief. But not the same case with Death Stranding: Sony has an 18-month contract to keep Death Stranding exclusive to PS4.
